What it meant to lose you

We did not even get to say goodbye,
You were gone before we knew it
And only god knows why.

You always made us smile,
You left such an imprint in our lives,
Our handsome boy, so big, strong and smart
It did not take long for you to steal our hearts.
You changed our lives, We cannot believe you are gone;
We love you with all our hearts.
 
We may cry and be sad but for
 Knowing you we will always be glad.
 
Thank you Lord for the Joy
This loved one gave us.
Please take him into heaven
And keep him there for us.
Just feed him, Pet him and Love him Lord
That is all we ask of Thee.
